Tried something a little different here. I decided to make a base mesh from some sample photos in the new anatomy book I got recently. Then I would use that base mesh to make most of my human heads from, to save time. I didn’t know if it would work well enough since The mesh for one object sometimes doesn’t work for another object, but I thought I would give it a shot.




The results were surprising. After having the base mesh done, getting a totally different head done took far less time, and it turned out pretty good. Grant you it really only looked good after a smoothed it and tweaked it a little, so I’ll still need practice just changing the base mesh around, especially for low poly game graphics.
